Of course, but it was more like five days. He proposed the bet at about the same time he stated that he would not divulge his "sources".
You accepted the bet after the report came out on Super Bowl Sunday from Jay Glazer that the Jets and Rodgers were splitting up. Again you can't accept the bet when the result was already in. You also had replied to that thread after I posted the bet and before Glazers story was reported however you did not accept it. You had a window to accept it and you didn't do it. Instead you waited until after the report to then accept. The honorable thing to do would be to just admit you didn't accept the bet until the result came in, which means the bet was already over as the result was in. Instead you are attempting to spin it and challenge my integrity when you could have just accepted the bet when you had your chance to.
Heres the thread. You replied to someone else after I had posted the bet. Then shortly after the report came out that Rodgers and the Jets were splitting as shown by all the comments on the following page. Case closed, you did not accept it until the result was in. https://forums.theganggreen.com/thr...g-on-from-rodgers.100732/page-78#post-4442520 When you bet on something, you bet prior to the result not after the results have come in.
Since you made all the rules and regulations you probably should have thought better about how the bet would be decided. As it is, you haven't even won yet, the bet is not over and cannot be until the season begins or Rodgers goes elsewhere. Right now he is still a New York Jet. The result is still not in, but at least the Jets have announced their intentions. Your claim was that "If Rodgers returns for the 2025 season on the Jets..." The Jets did not make any decision public until February thirteenth. Paul Glaser is "just a guy" who writes about the team, he is no authority - what makes him more important than any other writer who wrote back in December that the Jets and Rodgers would part ways? What made him more important than any writer or commentator in the country who said the same thing in January or the beginning of February? Did he cite anyone of authority? Absolutely not! As I said before you surprise no one with your weasel dealing, welching, welshing and wimping out.
