I understand the emphasis on turnovers but isn't a plethora of three and outs the same thing essentially? The Saints routinely rank high up in forced turnovers yet their defense is susceptible to getting gashed year after year. They are never considered a top defensive team. It's the risk/reward that's comes with turnovers that can lead to teams getting burned. Look at someone like Asante Samuel who will often gamble on jumping a route but remains an easy target on double moves.
Turnovers and 3-and-outs are very different IMO. 1) a turnover will have a higher chance of leading to much better field position than a 3-and-out punt. 2) big time momentum swing if you end up with an int or fumble recovery opposed to fair catching a punt
Boom; Great way to put it. Psych's you up and drop the morale of the enemy. You need intensity and nothing like a turnover can spark that in the game of football
Ah yes, that was one of my favs, and your timing couldn't have been more exquisite. It's funny how being a fan can get you roasted so easily, especially by the negative fans. I pushed it with that last paragraph, but the first 2 were on point. Anybody else notice all the phantom flags in the Giants vs Jets game tonight? I seriously think they are told by Goodell that when in doubt, throw the flag. The ridiculous holding call on the Dline and many of the PI calls were LOL worthy. Abysmal, where did you go? I gave you 2 whole days and expected to come back to an ass raping of epic portions (well, not really). Instead I find that you are gone and people are actually discussing football. Who woulda thunk? Even BeastBeach is outperforming you at this juncture. Still writing those server performance reports (LOLZ) eh? Dude, it's Wendy's. You don't need to write a thesis on how well the servers help customers.
While Idzik was booking hotel rooms, Pete Carroll and John Schneider were building a championship team, the cornerstone of which is a strong secondary. Clearly Idzik was too consumed with the continental breakfast options to make note......
Sorry Barqs (well, not really), but you fell down the list of priorities of things to do with my free time fairly quickly. And there was no way that I was going to be spending game night reading through your mountain of obnoxious horseshit post history. But I did find an hour or two to rifle through your posts, and let me tell you, if it weren't for the 4000 or so posts that were basically whining about a) negativity, b) the Jets fan base or c) "darksiders" - all of wwhich are basically the same thing in your eyes - I might have thoroughly enjoyed the insane amount of hypocritical 180 degree opinions I found. Hell, I started from your earliest days posting and skimmed through the post lists, and I had to stop so many times to copy a post from you that I only made it into early 2013 before I decided to call it quits. That's not to say that I'm done going through them, but let's just say that reading post after post from you only magnifies your whining bitch personality about 1000 fold. And before you try to accuse me of "twisting words out of context" or some other BS, there's a neat little hyperlink in the shape of an upwards-pointing arrow that someone can click to take them to the exact post and discussion that quote was taken from, to see the exact context. Actually, I encourage people to do this, since it makes the experience all the more enjoyable.

I understand the potential of Walls but it needs to Dee Milliner and Ellis Lankster on the outside until Ellis loses the job because if you look at his stats, he is very underrated. Not just a special teams hero
