I saw the Bills won again today, looking ahead at the rest of the season I see we are playing: Titans Bills Texans Packers Patriots How many of those do you (honestly) think we will win?
I said one because losing them all would only help their draft position and MAYBE mean Bowles gets fired, and the Jets are too incompetent to help themselves that much. Most likely they;ll beat the Pats in Foxboro because by then the CHeats will have clinched the division and a playoff berth and Belichick will have more of a clue that the Jets winning will hurt them, than Bowles does.
I think we beat the Bills and maybe snag a win against the Titans if they come out and loook bad. I would still vote one more win though.
If we win Zero games St Jude's Hospital will receive a $75 check due to Season Record Prediction game here. If we win One more game St Jude's Hospital will receive a $100 check. If we win Two more games St Jude's Hospital will not receive an additional check. So, now that our season is over to me, winning 1 more game is the ideal result for both the donation angle and draft position angle not that I care about draft position much.
1 or 2, just to ruin draft position. I think we'll beat a disinterested Packers (unless we are in tank mode) and maybe we get lucky with a Josh Allen meltdown.
Sorry guys ..zero..nada..nothing I've already posted this prediction weeks ago It's just the sad facts ...sigh Evidence: below average players thanks to MM (except for maybe 3 or 4including Sam Herndon Adams ..are there more? Anderson Quincy..not Kearse anymore...oh yeah Kicker and a Punter HC who sucks big time ..can't figure out a penalty OC is feh too Schedule against us: ALL playoff contenders( except Buffalo) with everything to play for..Buffalo of course is no gimme as well..three out of five are the road and Jets are terrible there Silver lining: More losses>>>guarantees Bowles and maybe Mac gone One day we get it right..please ?
I thought a historically bad offensive team in Buffalo was ripe for the picking at home and we got crushed. Can't see us winning another game this year.
I'm going the bold route. 4. More like the stupid route. The only reason for it is because 7-9 was my original prediction for the season, so I'll stick by it until it becomes mathematically impossible. Oh, and blind squirrels would probably be a better team to field. I'm surprised some Wisenheimer didn't pick Super Bowl. My money is on FJF. Maybe we'll get another streaker before the season is over to spice things up a little. Remember those guys? Jets home game MNF vs. the Colts, two fools jumped on the field and almost made it into the EZ. One got tackled - more like destroyed - by a NJ State Trooper, the other one by Security. Of course people in my section started yelling, "Sign him!" "Which one? The streaker or the cop?" "BOTH!" It was the highlight of the game. The only disappointment was that the streakers weren't completely naked. Can't win 'em all. There's was also another one a couple of years before that. It was just one guy wearing a red jacket. Same thing. Demolished by a NJ State Trooper. We won that one. What was this about again?
Now I definitely hope its just 1 game. And I think it will be. I think it comes this Sunday. In Tennessee, short week for them. I wouldn't be surprised though if they lose out. Either way, its good for the kids. Thx Brook
Thinking one, but hoping we lose out. At this point, it's really all or nothing for me so tanking and getting as high as a pick as possible is the best way to go about this. Also, losing would ensure radical change especially if we end up at 3-13.
We'll find a way to sneak out one win in our last 5, just enough to screw us out of getting Bosa in typical Jets fashion
1 or 2. Could easily see wins against Tennessee and Buffalo. Although 3-13 has a nice ring to it with respect to trading for a whole bunch of draft capital.
Probably just enough to screw themselves longterm, but remember when Abraham decides to go on a tear week 17, and the JETS fall to #4 in the 2006 draft? That ended up being a blessing in disguise.
The Patsies will rest their starters and the Jets will win causing them to lose out on a high draft pick. Book it.
