Damn I remember a couple times when Justin Fields got hurt. You ever see those tapes?

Did you take that photo when you got home from work this afternoon or is that your back deck?

    Legler: "Career > Season"

Last most recent season they players coming off carries a lot of value, and Zach beat Fields in that category in 2020. I really like both of them on straight drop backs and clean pocket passing. But if you say it is consensus amongst GMs to give Fields an edge there, l will go with that.

So do you really think if Fields played UTSA and Navy every week he wouldn't have lit them up? Should we forget about the fact that in his sophomore year he had a comparable season (finished five spots better in Heisman voting...) against football teams that churn out NFL players?

Just thought of this. Ryan is still a good QB, but he's 36 going into week 1. Falcons could take Lance and have him sit for a year or two.

But he wasn’t “impressive” in those instances.

He only outplayed the presumed number 1 pick in this year's draft. So unimpressive.

It makes sense but that franchise is still in denial over the Super Bowl loss and is dying to recreate it. I could see them taking Pitts or Sewell and also trading down. It would make sense to take Lance or Fields assuming they're both there.

How would this board react if JD pulls off a draft day trade down and announces that the Jets are rolling with "his guy", James Morgan? (asking for a friend )

That'd be kind of cool. The unknown could be more fun than things like year two of Geno.

I think they both would do well in each other's spots. Would Fields record the best ever advanced statistical passing season in the history of NCAA according to the PFF and lead them to 11-1 or better, breaking Steve Young's records, if he were on BYU? I don't know the answer. It wouldn't be an easy feat for anyone I don't think. Similarly I don't know if Zach would be able to perform the way Fields did for Ohio St. Maybe he would beat Clemson also and not have a couple of bad games with more picks than passing TDs. Or he could have lost a game. Who knows, but I just don't think what each one of them did is easily replicated and like both the guys as top 3 picks.

Not the best ever statistical passing season as recorded by PFF in it's six years of recording NCAA football statistics!

Don't insult the GOAT and his season ever again like that.

Added trade down as an option. You can change your vote if you want
