On a more serious note. Zach played okay and its great that he got ROTW but was it a big step forward? It was pretty hard to tell. He threw better, except that int, which was a killer, and seemed take what he was given better. Still gotta say to me it felt like the kind of game Sam would have that would make us think he was progressing. This week will be interesting.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m rooting for the kid BIGLY. But it just seems like there’s either too many words in that sentence, or not enough.
But he played so well for such a young player. Take away all of those terrible throws, and a severe lack of yardage before garbage time, and what you’re left with is an absolute gem of a performance that would make Elway and Marino jealous. We should make him the Pepsi Greatest to Ever Play the Game award winner. To heck with this weekly stuff.
