He take a step backwards too, you never know. He is also short and injury prone, that can play a factor as well. The bottom line is that while Dolphins certainly have some good assets, the most important one -QB- has not yet been solidified. Dolphins now got #6 pick - so they might not be sold on Tua just yet. Could be taking Sewel here though.

I fear you are not getting your wish at all but at least JD did something about last years main issue for you and maybe you will get a surprise on draft night ;)

Would you prefer Fields? Or Darnold and trading down.

    1. Welcome to the Jets Wilson. Yeh he had a couple of wild throws, but his receivers were also not that complimentary, yet on the more complex passes he was money . No more talk about arm strength and zip and throwing on the run. On the move he is amazing. I’m sold. Sorry but I Totally and completely disagree with taking Fields over Wilson. We shit on Wilson because of competition but Fields was surrounded with superior talent far and above better than 95% the competition. Fields ability to get the second or third read quickly when in trouble was way, way off. And when off he was off for long stretches. IMO Fields will be the 4th QB in this years draft.
    2. Ok now that I’m completely sold, JD will pull a switch around.

I'd be shocked if Sewell makes it past the Bengals. I think the Phins are eyeing a playmaker there whether it's Chase/Smith/Pitts or other.

Simms being so calm and organized in the conversation of his placement of Wilson as QB1 in this draft is unexpectedly comforting and reassuring to me as a Jets fan in this process.

Thanks! The BYU feed was silly. They must've thought the idea of their broadcast was to showcase THEIR voices, and that camera angles aren't really important. Pathetic.

Absolutely. We traded away our best defensive player for extra picks and grabbed Becton and Mims. We also rolled out a brand new OL.

I don’t doubt this. I don’t know what Douglas could have possibly seen that would make him hesitant.

Seems like every one is fellating not shitting on Wilson. He doesn’t have to worry about the latter. Fields is the one that overnight has turned into just another dumb black OSU QB.

Race has no bearing what’s so ever in this evaluation. I certainly think Fields will be successful in the NFL. I think Wilson fits where we going with this team. We shall see.

I don't like this, come on man, no racists on here and if they are it is very well hidden.

This sort of argument against Fields is irrelevant because the same argument can be made for BYU with BYU's roster versus the field.

Which is exactly my point. The competition point was irrelevant at best.

Gotta love how the Wilson fans are being biased but casual racism claims with regards to Fields are no big deal.

I get you like Fields better than Wilson, which goes against the consensus. And that you have legitimate reasons for it, and for what it's worth, even though I have Wilson higher, I have them close enough that I wouldn't be surprised if Fields is better. But don't go into conspiracy theories; nobody's out to get you or Fields.

Those who do not have such motives shouldn’t be offended but I seen this pattern before. Furthermore, the comment was towards the draft punditry not TGG.

If we have to pick a QB at 2 give me Fields....Him tearing apart Clemson was something special and he’s been a top tier prospect since forever basically.

Nothing against Wilson, I’ll just take my chances on the super freak and coach him up.

Looks like it’s probably Wilson though so hope he’s just as good or better
