Zach Wilson should be BENCHED. It should have happened at the end of the 3rd quarter but just the same keeping him on the field is a blueprint for LOSING. There's no one else to blame for this except ZACH WILSON. If this idiot had a clue I'd be supporting him. Clearly he doesn't.
It is definitely time to revamp the QB room next year. Zach will be here, of course. But he should in no way be the presumptive starter. Need a viable veteran to replace Flacco who can actually compete to be the day 1 starter, or possibly be brought in to be the outright day 1 starter. And, I would spend an early round pick on a QB as well. No doubt about it.
Done. But let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. This is a good team. Even Medicare QB play and they're contenders. Not perfect, but a good team. The biggest problem is Zach. Should pulled him for White. Need to start looking at QBs
What's nice is the media seems to be seeing this, too. There are legitimate building blocks on the roster. That gives me a glimmer of hope they would actually be a viable destination for a guy like Lamar Jackson.
It's official, I was wrong about Zach. He is not the answer. Mechanics and mental errors exceed his potential. I'm done. Time to move on.
Like I said, I’m not totally ready to dismiss him outright but this is the worst I’ve seen him look as a pro. Those last 2 picks are inexcusable.
It’s usually quite obvious by year 2 if a young quarterback has it, or if he doesn’t. The thing is, he plays like this every game. Sometimes he gets away with the inexcusable decision making, but it’s always there.
And neither am I but it's obvious he's holding an otherwise great team back. It's time for Joe Douglas to light a fire under his ass. Draft another QB and put Zach in a 100% straight up, winner take all QB competition. We cannot allow this to continue to happen. The players, the fans, the CS, ALL deserve better than this....
