Good. The quicker the locker room makes it clear that there needs to be some accountability for the QB, the quicker it forces Saleh and Douglas to make a change. You can only win in spite of your QB for so long, and that time has run out for the Jets, I'm afraid.
I honestly love this post, the locker room might create the change at QB. Its obvious that the coach and GM are tied to Zach and will do everything in their power to keep him on the field
At a minimum, his ridiculous press conference should cost him his captaincy. There has to be some accountability for his piss poor play and then that ridiculous press conference of his. If you're not going to bench him, at least publicly chastise him by taking that away.
Yep. And even in the games people cite as his "good" games he throws for like 150 yards with 1 TD and 60% completion.
Huge week for Saleh in my eyes. Needs to make a statement and bench him. Especially with that presser after. No excuses, this kid is both an incompetent QB and a spoiled rich brat. Its clear. He can’t hit a freakin screen pass. He was literally drafted because of one throw in a combine. I’m not going to blame them for drafting him, the class as a whole sucks and its a crapshoot. But I will blame them if they continually favor his “development” at THIS point over the team winning.
Based on Wilson's attitude at the press conference, he seems to agree with the homers here that he played great as long as he didn't throw any picks.
What boggles my mind is Zach goes against this elite Jet defense everyday in practice and still can’t get better
And you would think they would be working on that daily. Fixing his eyes. At least he cut out the backpedaling. So they are working on something
It is not FAIR to the 52 other team members to have Wilson continue to play. BOTH games against NE would have been jet wins with even adequate QB play.
Robert Saleh is going to pay the price for this and I don't think it is going to be that far down the road.
There was a LARGE contingent on this board that ridiculed anyone who dare question zack wilson, the prospect. Do everyone a favor and take a backseat during the next, upcoming qb evaluations.
See I think the CS are creating an issue. Other players have been in the dog house but no accountability for Wilson. He doesn't need to be benched but when he's ineffective for 3 quarters give someone else a chance
