edited to include TL. I was focused on the non-TL QBs since TL has been in a class all by himself from the start according to everyone.

He’s not in a class by himself. There are a significant number of folks who thinks Wilson is better or on par.

you know what I meant, Legz...the entire narrative has been it is TL as the sure thing and surefire first overall pick, best QB prospect since Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning and John Elway, etc. and then everybody else (Wilson, Fields, Jones). Regardless of whether or not people agree with it, they can't argue that that has been the dominant narrative all year-long.

You literally just said if he sits, that's "strike 1" in your mind. So no, you dont want and prefer he sits

Now that they are in the NFL I think all that goes away. It already started during the draft process. All these top QBs will forever be compared to each other. The only thing that separates Trevor has now is that no one will blame Jacksonville for drafting him over the other QBs if he doesn’t pan out.

If he “needs” to sit, it’s strike 1. Given a choice I prefer all QBs sit behind a quality QB. Sitting behind a bum for the sake of sitting and/or because you need to is a problem.

EDIT: The English language is not that complicated, I literally said:

    o_O haha OK.

So IF Wilson sits week 1, how in the hell are you or I gonna even know if its because they want him to sit or because he "needs" to sit??

If the CS or reports comes out saying he wasn’t ready so we are going with James Morgan or some other bum, then I will be concerned.

Oh trust me. It will be because he sucks. That's what's being teed up here. Make no mistake. It's going to be a fun year on the boards.

You are right. Thats so messed up, its no wonder the Jets can't ever develop a QB properly. If Rodgers was drafted here he woulda played right away and washed out

False! “Concerned” wouldn’t be the applicable adjective to describe my thoughts for anything regarding Wilson outside of him not starting because he’s not ready. That and him actually turning into the Mahomes/Rodgers love child Simms and his minions project would be the only 2 things that would surprise me.

He would be wise not to trust you because you are wrong.
