Isn’t Jeremiah Douglas’ boy? Maybe he’s trying to cover for JD. And not a good fit? Didn’t Zach say he played in a very similar scheme to this one in college?
The first play of the game they ran an RPO and Zach got his face smashed in. There is no offense that Zach can succeed in. I’m so tired of this narrative.
While I will argue this CS sticks to their system instead of building a system around the talent you have on the team..... I genuinely do not feel there is an offense Zach can lead. At best he's not asked to do much like when hall was healthy and the defense was humming.
Can we stop blaming the OC?!?! they brought in a heavy metal version of Tim Tebow off the practice squad and there was immediately more offensive production, as unorthodox as it may have been....
The OC is a big part of the problem. And not just last night. The whole season. Only thing that masked his incompetence was Breece Hall's ability. Coming off a bye week: put up 3 pts and averaged something like less than 1 foot per play. Last night: only scoring drive was a 3 play, -4 yard drive. Route concepts are hot trash and the offense isn't schemed to mask the Oline weaknesses or QB's inability to read the whole field. These are all tied to OC. MLF needs to go. This is the biggest test of whether Saleh has what it takes to be an NFL HC IMO.
