it was the best I have seen him play which gives some encouragement going into next season - the team is still a hot mess and years away from competing but this gives us something at least
This was the first game, against a very formidable Tampa defense, that I have faith in a jump year from ZW next year. He looked like a different guy out there today and I believe if we don't lose Carter or Fant...this is probably more of a blowout. Especially losing Fant. As far as Lawrence, I would say that he has definitely fell short of expectations. Even Burrow last year, was able to elevate a very poor Bengals offense and obviously took a big leap this year with talent around him. If I'm the Jaguars, I probably hire Doug Pederson as HC and trust he can maximize Lawrence's skillset. In all honestly, Evan Neal is probably the right pick for them and not one of the big two pass rushers. But yes, hopefully we are on the road to me being wrong on my initial prediction.
I put down a measly dollar on 3 td's... This was the one I hit for a win... Win - SingleRisk $ 10.00 / To Win $ 350.00 / Odds +3500 Who will Score 2 or more Touchdowns? Braxton Berrios (NYJ) (+3500)Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New York Jets
The ending was so, so Jetsy. I gotta say I was amazed it wasn't a massacre all things considered, but what a way to lose.
I’ll tell ya, I’ve been encouraged overall. It seems like he has all the stuff you can’t teach, arm strength, mobility, crazy throws. It’s just a matter of refining the easy stuff, and I think we’re seeing it. I’d much rather roll with that than the other way.
I don't think that was the case. He thought he could make it, but Tampa's D outexecuted our OL. While it was a mistake in judgment, I don't think it was because he was trying to be the hero.
A while back, a few members on this board were claiming that Mac Jones was a better pick. Perhaps these folks need therapy. Anyone can see that Zack possesses a better arm and has more to offer athletically speaking. In cold-weather games, his arm will be a valuable weapon that Mac Jones does not possess. He has obviously developed good chemistry with Berrios. I am sort of upset my Pats did not keep this guy. It looks like the Jets made a smart decision picking him up of waivers. Maybe Zack will not have a better career than Mac Jones due to his environment. But he clearly has more upside than Mac Jones. I like the team's performance today, and I hope it is a sign for more good things to come.
It’s a legal issue. Gambling isn’t legal in every state in the USA. Daily Fantasy went to court to prove that their platform was skill based… and they won.
That's what I meant by draconian. Though from an outsider looking in it is weird, I dread to think how many laws you can break the moment you cross a state line lol Though if the UK banned gambling I'd be a lot richer lol
Yeah plus I feel he’s a great fit with MLF, who’s easily becoming one of my favorite OC’s as the year has gone on. The trick plays have worked a lot more then I’ve expected but the misdirection and run plays have improved ten fold, not to mention the improved OL play at RG (LDT needs to come back).
