On the list of things you can read into- if you go back watching the Jets Insta of players walking into the stadium before the game they were always “all business” kinda miserable looking. Today they were all smiling and even playing with the camera guy a bit. The attitude changed quite a bit.
We won 5 games with Zach, the worst QB in the league. To not win 4 more with a much better White would be a total implosion. AFC championship game appearance or the season is a complete failure.
There was definitely a different vibe out there today, that was very evident. I just hope that Saleh gives Mike White some time to get comfortable in this spot and not yank him at the first sign of anything that resembles struggling. All this team needs in order to have a chance at the playoffs is basic competency at QB. They weren't getting it before. They got it today, and then some.
bucketysuckszachsdickety is just trying to raise the bar since all his pompous insults against anyone who questions Zach are coming back to bite him in the ass
correction we won 5 gamed despite of Zack. He contributed very little to all 5 wins. If you don't think we win more than 5 games with Mike White there with the defense playing at the same level, your smoking crack, once Breece went down, Zack was horribly exposed. If you can't see he sucks pass the crack pipe please.
Zach is getting traded at the end of the season. Mark my words on this. I told you he wasn't better than Mike White right now. Plus there's tons of QB talent in this draft. Trade him, move him to GB. He learn under his idol and we can move on. Matt LaFleur will do MLF/Saleh a favor. ZW has potential, but this Jets fanbase can't wait for his development.
He just drove down the field and got the 2 point conversion with 15 seconds Left against a very good ravens defense. Damn.
A ham Sandwich has potential to, doesn't mean it will ever reach it. When a Qb can't hit wide open receivers and 2 yard passes 2 years in, and is indesicive on every throw it means he sucks.
I was wrong about Darnold in NY. Accept it Wilson - won't be the guy in NY. There's too much talent to coddle young QB with this much talent. MW and MLF will figure it out and keep us in games, and more importantly our defensive line fresh.
So one of the best offensive minds in the business would trade for someone that needs serious development? Humm, if he has the potential, then let’s keep him stashed another year.
True. We can stash him, but I think some of the younger QBs in the draft are better will be on rookie contracts. I trust JD to make the right call.
