Head scratching is not complaining. But yes, for your sake, let's move on. Every single person has said the exact same thing, why you're pinpointing one guy who bashes the trade is beyond me.

You shouldn't have quoted my post to begin with, you knew the moment you posted a reply to my post that I would come at you with proof.

This guy over here trying to be the elder statesman of the board. get over yourself.

If your idea of proof is a post that doesn't say what you said it did, then sure, ya got me.

No one is trying to be an elder statesman. You made a blanket statement that actually applied to only one person. Don't post shit like that and not expect to get called on it.

Lost in ALL of this pissing and moaning is the fact that I'm fine with the trade. As is everyone else except the guy from 1968.

You said no one, I posted someone it's as simple as that. Doesn't matter who it is. The person I quoted, isn't always negative about the Jets.

BTW Mr. Statesman, you aren't trying to be one, Mr. "Lesson in rollover money?" Could've fooled me.

An informative post for people, which includes myself, that didn't know much on the topic at a time where it was being discussed frequently? Don't be dumb. That's just something you disagree with and it made you upset so you're using it as ammo. Kind of like the one person in an entire thread full of opinions that didn't like the trade.

Can you at least acknowledge you blew it way further out of proportion than you thought it actually was?

I never said that topic was awful. Just callin it how I see it. In all actuality, I didn't disagree with the topic 1 bit.

Hey man, I quoted what I saw. Continue to nit-pik but you aren't getting anywhere. You done? Or do you need the last word?

trading a 7th rounder for Stacy is good value for sure.

but Stacy, Ridley and Richardson will all be competing for likely 1 spot (short of injury).
and they are all similar style players.

I'd have felt a lot stronger about our offense had we picked up Duke Johnson in the 3rd..
IF we go towards more spread looks (and that's a big IF), then having a shiftier back who can also pass protect would be a real nice weapon.
as of now, that player will be Bilal Powell.
I'm totally fine with Powell, just would have liked another player with a little more speed, capable of chunk ydg plays added to our depth (rather than more redundant depth).

maybe we can trade one of these guys towards the end of camp..

I'm looking at Stacy stats, scouting reports and film and I'm still puzzled as to how he's the guy we walk away from the draft with... but I did see that he has decent hands, just not much going on after the catch. That's a step up from Ivory, who has some of the worst hands I've ever seen from an RB. I guess that's something?

You wouldn't take Gurley in the 4th round.. Not sure if you're a liar or a fucking idiot.

He also said he wouldn't trade a 6th for McCoy or Jamal Charles so... take that into consideration.

The Seahawks by all accounts should have been back to back Super Bowl champions. Who is the focal point of their offense? That's right, a running back.

He also said taking Gurley in the second round would be a worse pick than taking Mike Nugent in the second round, and also said he didn't care if a RB ran for 1000 yards every year for 15 years he would never take one in the first round

Sounds like he really hates running backs. Maybe one of them killed his dog or something.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that shit ... 15 straight 1000 seasons would put him ABOVE Curtis Martin in terms of career rushing yards.

And just for context, he says the Colts are a teir below the Giants, Bucs, Bears, Falcons amongst others when it comes to WRs. He's just out of whack in general when it comes to evaluating skill positions.

What made U change your mind? In one post he was not worth a 7th rounder and in another he is worth it? Just wondering what your train of thought is.
