Just mentioning that Norwood is a 1st rd talent, and won't be available with the Jets 2nd rd pick at approx...#48....as Nesquik claims. I know Norwood isn't on McClain's (I have McClain ranked in my Top 10) or Spikes level...but he isn't too far behind, maybe a 1/3 of a round. If Norwood was on Bama's squad he might be even better, with better players around him. I know height is important...but heart/desire/motor is equally important.
I never said that he wasnt talented enough to be drafted in the first i just dont think he will be a first rounder the way that its slated right now there are only a couple 3-4 teams in the bottom of the first who need a 3-4 linebacker, New England and maybe Arizona. He is probably a top 3 player but the need for him wont be there until the second round starts up again. Now yes theres trades and teams drafting ahead of where players probably should be picked but as of right now i dont see Norwood as a first round lock.And no he wont be picked in the the top 15 Saying that i would love for us to grab him WHEN hes in the second lol
I don't know. I like Eric Norwood to be honest. I haven't seen a lot of the kid, but the little bit that I have seen, has made me excited to see him in the pros. Regardless of where he goes in the draft. Didn't he break the sack record for the gamecocks? I don't know, the dude has a massive "get off" from the line. I haven't seen many that can get off the ball like he does. I'm impressed by the kid.
