One was a great read and run by Tebow. The other was McKnight making something out of nothing. Then Greene got tackled and it was 2nd and 15. They should have stopped after the first Tebow play, definitely after McKnight since that was a broken play turned good with moves. They went one too far.
I don't need to see the QB run the ball 200 times to know that that isn't going to take the Jets anyplace the rest of the team wasn't going already. Kyle Orton is a baaaaaad QB. His numbers look good but he can't lead his way out of a paper bag. Replacing him with Tebow just took the badness that Orton brings to the field off of the field and the Broncos defense responded. He's not going to get the same results again. Sanchez is a much better QB than Kyle Orton, which anybody who has watched both of them play understands without looking at the numbers too hard. Put Tebow on the field for the Jets and they're going to get less out of him than the Broncos got, because right now the Jets skill players are worse than the players the Broncos had last season.
Well technically they weren't inconsistent today - it was fairly consistent. Here is a link to the game stats if you want to feel worse.... http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2012091610/2012/REG2/jets@steelers#menu=highlights&tab=analyze
