i know very very little about douglas at this point. i dont like gase and think that his insanity and attitude will be a huge detriment to the team. i just dont think he is a very good coach or even a decent person. but time will tell.
If this thing does crash, I hope they 'd keep Douglas around to oversee yet another rebuild and knock some sense into our VP/CEO.
I just pray Darnold is the real deal. If he is, I think that will make up for a lot of shortcomings that everyone else may have.
His comments about OL/DL tells me the guy knows how games, wants smart players who do not beat themselves,,,which tells me that some players will not be here long. Both guys have a desire to win and nothing else seems to matter... all I can say is about F********* time.
I heard Joe D answer just 2 questions at Presser: rel with Gase and what he will bring to the table for Jets organization. He said the Chicago days with AG formed a bond and he will be on a constant look out for talent on waiver wire...YES Got a great feeling already
Yeah...not like those sweethearts Belichick or Parcells. Gawdamnit ...I wish Mother Theresa was still coaching.
My bold prediction???? The Gase/Douglas will NOT suck as bad as the Mac/Toilet era. How's that for a bold prediction?
Jordan Jenkins will knock the snot out of Brady. Thus ushering in the Dann Etling era and 16 more years of dominance by New England.
My bold prediction is they will both get extended contracts when the time comes. I really feel this is a marriage made in heaven & it will be around for many years. Both have a respect for each other, something that was missing in the Gase, Mac coaching relationship.
we are serious contenders in 2-3 years We need one monster draft like the Seahawks or KC has had starting this season we will play hard the entire game win lose or draw
If Darnold takes the next step then I see the playoffs as a possibility this year. They won't win the division but a WC can be had. I definitely think the Jets will show improvement this year( playoffs or not) and the future is bright.
Yeah...but she had Sister Thomasina under center. Remember that game winning Hail Mary against the New Delhi Devils?
