top of 3rd inning, he grounds into a fielder's choice, leaving him at first with 2 outs. cory sullivan comes up and gets a full count, meaning Matsui is running on the pitch. What happens? Foul Foul Foul Foul Foul Foul Foul Foul Foul Foul Foul Finally, Sullivan flied out to left. All that hard running for nothing.
Kaz is a good player who is doing really well with the Rockeies. I always liked him, even if he didn't live up to the hype here in NY.
Kaz is a terrible player who's doing poorly with the Rockies. He had 100 good AB's last year and this year he's been back to his old tricks. His numbers are buoyed slightly by the fact he's hitting .341/.387/.485 in Coors but everywhere else he's his pathetic old self to the tune of a .253/.303/.343 line. Not only did he "not live up to the hype" in NY, his performance last year with the Mets was as bad as Rey Ordonez at his worst.
