    There is an advantage using Fitzpatrick going forward..we will probably lose to everybody left but san francisco no matter who the QB is so it might as well be the guy who will be out of football next year and not the guy who might have a future still.

    To me, it looks like Petty game against STL, was as good or better than almost every Fitz game this year.

    Not sure what makes Fitz an NFL QB this year, and Petty not.

    There is no reason to play Fitz anymore this season. Petty should remain the starter so that the Jets can find out if he can be the starter or even a back up QB next season. If he doesn't show any improvement, then the Jets could let Hackenberg start the last couple of games.

    Well whatever we think is the right thing to do the team will do the opposite in typical Jets fashion

    That is such flawed logic there, bub. Fitzpatrick should've taken the multi-year deal while it was on the table. The guy had some big ol' balls betting on himself this year and it slapped him right in the mug.

    If Bowles goes back to Fitzpatrick, the media will rightfully call for his head.

    I was only half serious with that but the media should be calling for Bowles head anyway.
