The only issue I have with this is Funchess. That guy has turned completely sour on me for some reason. In your post we are letting Robby walk so I would rather go after Agholor for way cheaper. Still need someone to take the top off the defense if he is let go.

You, @J-Raw24 & @NCJetsfan have nailed it though. I would love any of these scenarios.

Agholor is awful and so is Funchess. Big time downgrades

He is still a threat to take the top off the defense. In Dean's post he addressed getting a true WR1 in Lamb. Obviously if we lose Robby and don't get Jeudy or Lamb I would be livid if the move at WR was Agholor.

I've never liked Funchess. I think our FA $s should go for OL, Edge and CB (in that order).

They're both rotational receivers that have gotten a lot more run because of their physical attributes. Funchess is huge and was looked at as a potential tightend out of college, and I don't really get why Algholor still gets a ton of run other than because the Eagles can't keep receivers healthy.

They both have major drops issues. It's part of the reason the free agent receiver class sucks.

My under the radar guys in the receiver class are below.

    WR Geronimo Allison
    WR Keelan Cole (RFA)
    WR Tim Patrick (RFA)
    WR Tajae Sharpe
    WR Laquon Treadwell
    WR Rashard Higgins

I like David Moore and Jaron Brown from the Seahawks but those receivers usually don't fair well when they leave Russell Wilson. But they both catch deep balls well in limited action.

You want multiple reliable weapons that can catch the football, and Algolor does not fit the description. That is a horrible way to allocate money.

JD needs to bring Robby back. If you want to add Lamb too then sure, both would be amazing together. Robby still has to improve his route running for sure.

Robby isn't worth 14-15. That money is better off being spent on OL or Nguakue. If told me 3 years 30 for Robby, Sure.

Keenan Cole is pretty decent, I also checked the FA list, it's not bueno... Allison couldn't amount to much in GB. Gotta bring Robby back. I could see a Quincy restructure you never know. Free up some cash.

Lamb and Robby would be freaking amazing if it happened.

Saying "14 to 15" is an outdated mindset when it comes to contract talk. It's all about guaranteed money.

I'm willing to go 4yrs / 50m. 30M guaranteed or so. Might look to steal Spain from the Bills as well as Connor McGovern. Lewis and Beachum.

Nguakue is going to strike gold, I prefer some of the mid level free agents. Def avoid Schreff, I wanted him before but he hasn't been healthy as of late. Conklin too much.

Just need better overall depth and stabilize some of the positions, not trying to win FA.

    Re-sign Poole, Jenkins, and Anderson.

Go all in on Conklin and Scherff or Joe Thuney. I'd try to sign a mid-level FA CB.

Jeudy or Lamb at 11. Becton or Prince Tega in the 2nd. In the 3rd I'd take Nick Harris, Trey Adams, and Darrell Taylor.

I'd put almost every single resource I have into the offensive side of the ball that has been abused since 2006.

You don't want either of Conklin or Scherff but are willing to give Robby a big time contract. o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

Scherff has some injury history, and Conklin is good too but the price tag might be close to 70 million. Lane Johnson got 72 million, 55 million guaranteed.

Jets need a lot of new bodies in the trenches. I am also in the Wirfs camp to solidify the line.

I guess it's hard to speculate now since so much can happen. If you told me they resigned Robby I would be all in to get whatever OL in the draft and maybe one of Scherff, Thuney, or Conklin. If they let Robby walk, I would want 2 of those guys on the OL and address WR via our #1. Either way works. The initial comment I made about Agholor was solely in response to the quoted post. Agholor is going to get a dogshit deal, maybe just needs a change of scenery, but he can definitely take the top off the defense.

Yeah I know you didn't recommend him but just adding to that discussion.

Agholor can't catch, secondaries ain't respecting his play.

Geronimo Allison feels like an Aaron Rodgers doghouse player. I can't say whether he is or isn't very talented but he's a big dude, who is only 26.

I think Anderson isn't gonna get the type of money he thinks he is. Wouldn't be surprised if he comes back with his tail between his legs with an average salary. I would welcome that scenario and I'm not even a big Anderson fan

Totally disagree here. Have you seen the list of available wr’s? Robby is 26, the best unrestricted WR and teams have BOAT LOADS of money to spend. He’s gonna get paid bigley.

How much do you think he's thinking about? What are you looking at for "an average salary?"

Robby is absolutely getting paid and hopefully not by us unless he takes a discount (he won’t). The other FA options are abysmal. We’d have to trade for one or be sure we’re getting one of Lamb or Jeudy.
