Cro, played like a bigger faster version of Revis this year. At half the price. Yeah.,.that makes sense.
Explain how Cro is half the price.. and in what world is Cro a bigger faster version of Revis? lmao at the straight up hate. its warping your reality.
He's 3 inches taller, 20 pounds heavier, and has longer arms....and signed a 4 year 32 million dollar deal, in 2011. And I did not say he was, I said he played like it, this year.(btw, both guys were mid first round picks) Now maybe your version of math differs than mine, but that's 8 mil a year on average. Mevi$ is looking for 16. 16/2 = 8. :rofl2: at the straight up 2nd grade failure to grasp math. And english too. You just got your second grade teacher fired. Hope you're proud of yourself. Posted by my 7 year old using tapatalk. PS as I've posted 900 times I do not think Revis isn't a great player...he is. His position of misinterpreting the value of the position he plays, isn't worth putting up with.
Jets need to move Mevi$ he is not giving us any hometown discount this time around. There's always going to be a desperate team willing to give a 1st and a second round pick for him.
I find it interesting the PFT article says Rex is trying to clense the locker room from the bad apples, since Rex is the one responsible for bringing a few of them in. not to mention MAKING ONE A CAPTAIN! I'm thinking this may mean trying to move Holmes, which wouldn't upset me.
So Cro 'played' like a bigger and faster version of Revis? I like Cro's game a lot but he is not the player Revis is. He couldn't cover a slot guy, he's not very good in zone at all, takes too many PI calls, and won't even try to tackle RB's.. He also offers little in terms of leadership. And i like how you jumped Revis imaginary contract to 16mil. That won't happen. My guess is around 13 mil range. But if he insists on something crazy like 16, then i agree the Jets would have to move him. If Cro could net a nice pick, while freeing up 8mil+ cap, you have to consider that alternate move as well. Just like Revis, it all comes down to cost and return value. You seem to want Revis gone at any cost, like its personal.
If there is any chance to move Holmes, you take it! question tho, do we take a cap hit on Holmes even on a trade?
Florio is using Cimini's article as his source. Everyone is looking for alternatives. The bottom line is the Jets don't want to pay Revi$. Cimini was all over the map in his article. Trading Cromartie doesn't do anything about the Revi$ i$$ue. Rex can complain. His owner doesn't want to pay Revi$. The same owner paying Rex $3M per. Rex can't do anything. Its Woody's $$$$.
How many teams that finished as a top 10 draft pick are also in a position to rent Revis for a title run? Probably not realistic.
plus 1st rounders now with the new CBA are way more valuable than ever before - you get a potentially great player for 4 years for around $2.5m a year.
