He really seems comfortable with NY now. He sort of said that yesterday when he said it takes 6-12 months for most people to figure out NY but took him 3-3 1/2 years. I think he realizes now that when they boo you in NY it's not so much personal as they will also cheer you if you give them the chance.

Toughest place on the planet to play.

But he's obviously figured out that if you are the epitome of your craft, you can be a hero in Gotham.

Hopefully he continues to heed the pinstriped "bat" signal.

So, if you were Cashman what would you be offering Rivera and Posada after the season? 2 year contracts or longer? I'm thinking two but know they will want more because everybody wants one year longer then they can play.

In 4 innings of relief, Chamberlain has faced 12 batters and struck out 10. One had a broken bat ground out and the other got a hit and was later caught stealing. He is still in the minors so Myers can face one batter a game and either walk them or give up a hit. Makes perfect sense to me.

Anybody notice Gagne almost lost the game for Boston last night? 3 hits, 1 run and a good play not to lose the lead.

Sopcast is an application you can download that allows p2p television watching. Basically, other people feed what they're watching on their television to the "network" (for lack of a better word), and other people can watch that "channel" and see the same feed.

It's especially handy if, say, you have mlb.tv, but you're out of the home team market, and the Saturday game showing Phil Hughes' return is blacked out because of the stupid FOX exclusivity deals.

I swear I can not think of a single redeeming feature of FOX baseball.

ETA: It doesn't cost anything, but I'm not sure I can vouch for its legality, either. It's like Napster circa 1999, but for tv.

2 runs in 6 Innings isnt too shabby...especially with the way our lineup has been hitting

I'll still compliment Moose*. I'll take six innings of two-run ball from just about any pitcher, any time.

    * - With the caveat that it's only the Royals, but hey... whatever.
