Sterling: "I haven't seen a team win 108 games since the Yankees in 1998."

I was wrong. Unlike yesterday, Cano can't even get on base with nobody on.

So Romero had 24.1 consecutive scoreless innings.

    Sportsline's fantasy advice:

Romero took a no-hitter into the seventh in his last start and is clicking on all cylinders right about now. He has gone at least seven innings in four straight starts and in five of his last six outings. He is an excellent addition off the waiver where available and is worthy of starting in any league for his next start. However, beware that it comes at the launching pad that is the new Yankee Stadium.

Worst hitter in the Toronto lineup goes deep. That's his first homer of the year and his tenth homer in 11 years in MLB.

"All you have to do is win series. If you win every series, you'll win 108 games. I haven't seen a team win 108 games since the Yankees in 1998."

I think he was trying to say that it's ok if the Yankees lose today because they win the series anyway, therefore it's good.

Did we place a call to the bullpen yet? Or are we gonna wait til Pettitte throws over 120 pitches before we take him out?

    Ahhh, there we go. Bruney.
