TheChadManCan, I'll try and help you out a bit. Tickets go on sale at 10:00 A.M. I personally am getting them on-line. I'll have my computer, and my dad will have his ready in the other room, ready by 9:50. I'm going to start refreshing like crazy at 9:59, and hopefully I get tickets to the game I want. (I'm pulling for Mets/Yankees, Red Sox/Yankees, and Opening Day). I suggest, if you plan on going to Yankee Stadium, to get there REALLY early in the morning. I never witnessed it, but I can expect people to be camping out, so you actually may want to join those people. I'd ask someone who's actually been to Yankee Stadium before for more information. ^ I see what you are saying. I got lucky too. I have to be at my school at 11:30 to pick up Report Cards and Program Cards for the new term. It takes me about 10 minutes to get to school, so I will be fine as far as time goes.
My suite in college I can get about maybe 3 guys to press refresh like crazy for me. whats been your success w/ online?
Well the whole thing is I used to get tickets for Christmas every year as a Stocking Stuffer, so my parents would get the tickets I want. They had success, seeing as they got the tickets for the games I wanted to go to. But now that tickets are being sold basically a month or two later than they usually do, things may be different. I think I will be fine though. I'm just thinking if I should get my 'traditional' Bleacher Seats, or go for the Mezz. Level or something.
Rich, There are plenty of teams in the Tampa area if you want some choice. Rays are in Tampa, Pirates and Tigers are in Lakeland, Astros are in Kissammee and the Sox are in Winter Haven. There is also a team in Clearwater I believe so take your time and pick out what you want.
The rays are in St Pete. Clearwater has the Phillies, Braves are in Orlando and the Jays are in Dunedin. The Sox are not in WH...It's the Indians. Chicago plays in ARI..Unless you meant the bad guys...they play in Ft Myers.:beer:
Thanks for the info.... I think I'll be going the 1st weekend because I have to be in Vegas for the MWC tournament and of course the 1st weekend of the NCAA tourney. I think it'll be the 3rd against Pittsburgh, the 5th against the Tigers and maybe the 7th against the Reds. Friday the 2nd I might drive to Clearwater to see the Phils and Indians and then on the Sunday go to Dunedin and see the Blue Jays and Pirates. I wish the Mets were on the gulf instead of in St Lucie but Tampa is the where I am gonna be so I'll just have to settle on seeing the Mets in May in Arizona or San Francisco and hen again in July in LA and San Diego. Throw in the Triple A squad will be playing in Vegas this year and I'm ok.
