    I love the shock and outrage of Yankee fans when they get knocked out, even though it happens every year now. Kind of like Charlie Brown when Lucy pulls the football out from under his feet. Works every time. :up:

    Hey GM that sig is starting to hurt my eyes, it burns me up to see. How about if the Mets win the WS you replace it with one more pleaseable? Say like a Mets 2006 WS Champ?

    Not really, they haven't won a playoff game and have just 1 WC apperane to show for it while the yanks have won 2 div titles. it's bakc to business as usual in Boston after the fluke of '04.

    Better than we expected, and we lasted a few hours longer than the Yankees. :up: Plus, we have a great core of young players just breaking into the majors and stability at the manager spot.

    Don't worry, I'm sure George and Cashman and already busy pouring over the 1998 All-Star rosters and will soon be adding some new players.
