Sadly, I was listening when she said that, and the John Sterling line about not being able to predict anything I've heard him say probably several hundred times by now. "someone told me this guy had great stats and look, today he's terrible. You just can't predict baseball." You can usually tell he doesn't follow baseball when he says these things, also. When he talked about Ogando, he basically said he saw the stats that day and was surprised to see he was pitching well. If it's not the Yankees or Red Sox, Sterling doesn't care. Sometimes he throws in some gratuitous shots insulting the intelligence of anyone trying to predict baseball. He should look in the mirror before calling other people idiots.
I like Sterling, he brings character and excitement to the radio broadcast. Suzyn Waldman makes me want to punch kittens though...
