That's an interesting take, especially considering the Yankees made the Phils pay Abreu's clause, for the honor of taking him off their hands. But why muttle the argument with facts, right?

While your point is valid, don't think for a minute that Abreau dug the Yanks out of a hole when Matsui and Sheff went down. It was Cabrera...

Yeah... it's not like there's already a huge, massive thread about this already.

Good to see the true Yankee fans filing in after the 5 game sweep is completed.

Come on man, like I said, we can't allow the facts to get in the way of the anti-Yankee arguments. It's just not fair.

Boston massacre II they're calling it... This is hilarious. We had Green, Fasano, Wilson, and Bernie STARTING today and Cory Bleepin Lidle on the mound!! Blowsox still couldn't get a win. I love it.

Like 10P10 said, we have been posting almost non-stop for 4 straight days about this. Why start a new thread about it?

I almost puked when Proctor came in. I really hope that with Dotel around now that he will have enough for the playoffs.
Melky has earned the LF job next year. Too bad it will be with another team.

If we let Melky go it better be for an ace pitcher (D-train). Anything less and i will be utterly dissapointed.

Willis isn't an "ace" pitcher in the NL, and he would be at best a good #3 in the AL East.
