WTF is with the FX on the pitch replay? I despise ESPN.

Bad take there. You have to know that's a strike Derek. Tough at-bat, but not a smart take in a game like this against Schilling in Boston.

    Whoa. I'm surprised that wasn't strike 3.

Oh boy. I know it's too early to freak out, but this is not a good sign. Moose doesn't seem to have his best stuff tonight.

Don't forget about Beckett and Lowell. Poor babies, can't compete with the Yankees.

A much needed strong start for the Red Sox. Finally, a Boston pitcher who can find the strike zone. That was a pretty impressive play by Giambi to end the inning. Apparently, he's not that awful on defense.

I have often said he isn't a bad defensive first baseman. He won't win a gold glove, but he will make good solid defensive plays. Plus, Mattingly has worked with him this year, and what better teacher can a first baseman ask for?

And, yeah, I was getting tired of talking to myself. LoL

Damnit ARod. You are really making it hard to defend you.

Patience. Keep the patience going. Make him throw a lot, then rip the exhausted pen.

Piazza had Keith Hernandez... it didn't do much for him. I disagree, I think Giambi is brutal in the field... amongst the worst fielders in the game.
