Yes and no. He was wild, and a little inconsistent. He got away with an awful slider to Beltre, and Beltre also helped him by chasing a horrible pitch. His velocity isn't quite like Joba of old, either. That said, he threw a couple of very good sliders, and his fastball had more movement on it... more like it used to before the injury. It also looked like he was coming a bit more over the top than his last appearance, so I'm wondering if he's changed his mechanics a bit.
