Weird series, two guys I thought were big time question marks in Lackey and Colon both pitch well.

    Joe buck yerself

Note (earlier today) when Jack Buck interviewed Francona:

while Francona cited John Lackey was working the inside-outside corners with his breaking pitch nicely he also cautioned: "so far".....and then made mention of "remember the Yankees' dangerous lineup" being an added threat to not throwing strikes....

and when Lackey started missing and the Yanks were taking ..Buck totally ignored the "Yankee lineup-patience" fact that Francosa referred to and SOLELY focused on Francona's "so far" comment about Lackey's command (meaning that suddenly losing it at the time had NOTHING to do with the Yanks' ability to run the count, but merely the fact that Lackey lost the plate)....Lackey=bad....Yankees=non-factor?... classic anti-yank espn/fox bias ...

This deadpan clown Buck (along with MacCarver) takes FOX'S Yankee animus to not-so-subtle levels with each and every broadcast. Boardering on amaturish.

Also note Sean McDonough's broadcast of the "Sawx" - Indians game this past week: he was his calm 'objective' self .... until the Dustin Pedroia play late in the game (of an eventual 'Sawx' loss).....ooooh, did anyone catch 'Seanie-Sawx's' subsequent pouting when it didn't go the 'Sawx's' way?.....sheesh, the guy suddenly sounded like he was in need of an A-Rod suppository.

    Me?=Captain Obvious. ESPN/FOX?=major Yanks/Jets hate.

ESPN/FOX anti-NY shillls.... note how 'Sportscenter' posisitons the IMPORTANT stories on the 'vertical board' ......(depending on the final score)

beyond obvious at this point.... end of (lame) rant) .

you are delusional if you think Buck/McCarver are anti NYY, they are just douches. Buck would absolutely fellate jeter during a postgame interview if given the opportunity

Shitty loss. Goes to show you anyone can have a bad day at the office, but CC has been rocked by the Sux several times now.

    On to the next one.

Buck is anti yankees, he tried everything in his power to Jinx them during the 2009 WS. It got absurd after a while. Worst announcer in sports. Well, except for maybe Suzyn Waldman

I don't think that Buck is anti-Yankee, but I do think that he's ridiculously pro-Red Sox.

Yesterday he said in all seriousness that "if you don't like watching the Red Sox hitting, then you aren't a baseball fan." And then he followed that up with a five minute diatribe about how all the Sox end every game with dirty uniforms (though, predictably, he only called out their white stars as "gritty.")

    It's just embarrassing, really.

NEW YORK -- Major League Baseball officials will not suspend injured Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez over illegal poker allegations, the New York Post reported Sunday.
"Even if it is determined that he was [playing illegal poker], he will not be suspended at this time for this infraction," a source said. "He will be warned again and not lightly."

    http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2011/...ver-poker-claims-source-says/?test=latestnews

There was never even a 1% chance they would..not without suspending everybody that plays the game. Warn him all they want, it means nothing.

    It's about time.

I love Jorge but we're in a pennant race here, he's been terrible all season, and we've gotten less production from the DH spot than any other contender; we may as well see if Montero can handle big league pitching.

I'm also fine with using him as a DH only (even though I despise Cervelli.) We don't need Noesi in the bullpen now that Soriano's back, send him to Scranton.

That's a hell of a job by Garcia getting out of the inning with only 1 run allowed.

Now Curt Schilling is joining the booth for the next inning. You know, just in case you thought that the booth wasn't biased enough towards Boston already.

"if you're gonna be a Patriot, you better root for the Sox."

    Someone forgot to inform Brady.

Hey guys, were you aware that Dustin Pedroia is short, white, gritty, and an inspiration to us all?
