Probably not needed. CC looked pretty pissed in the dugout when Jeter got hit, and Burnett is one to go after a batter too... It should be a crazy weekend...
Anybody who thinks that punk wasn't throwing intentionally even with the bases loaded is a fool. He knew his pathetic team had no chance whatsoever of coming back against Hughes and figured he would just take out as many as he could along the way..just like the pussy he is. Oh, and hpw many more times must we suffer through Robertson before they exile him back to hell where he belongs? Johnson to the DL while Damon bats over .300...surprise, surprise. Nobody to replace him either. Hopefully they move Gardner to leadoff, and Jeter to second where he would rather hit anyway.
Johnson's injuries throughout his career are just ridiculous. Hes really not worth having on your roster because he cant stay on the field. Not happy at all with that signing.
Beckett's such a fucking punk. I hope C.C. throws a little something to Youk. Let's see if Youk will charge the mound when its not a 180 pound Rick Porcello on the hill. My gut says he won't cause he's a pussyfaggot.
Anyone who actually thinks Beckett intentionally threw at Jeter in that situation is a moron. He had no control at that point, and the bases were loaded in a 4 run game.
I disagree. I think it was very possible he did it on purpose. "Oopsssss. I lost my control out of nowhere. Against the Yankees again, no less. Oh shucks" Don't kid yourself, I'm not saying he 100% did it on purpose, but I wouldn't put it past Beckett for one second to do it.
If the bases weren't loaded you might have a point. But there is ZERO chance he's going to hit a guy to force in a run in what was at that point a close game.
Well yea, common sense would say that he wouldn't do it with the bases loaded. Probably why he did it, if it was intentional. Zero chance??? Devil, meet denial. Denial, meet Devil...
I stand by my point that anyone who thinks it was intentional is a complete moron. There was no reason to hit him in that situation even if the bases WEREN'T loaded, and even less to do it when it will force in a run.
That's fine. You are allowed to have that thought process. I just think is hilarious that you think there is a ZERO chance he could have done it on purpose, regardless of the situation. Also, if you really want to indirectly call people moron's on here(myself included), you're gonna have to be much more discreet about it. Just a tip
I'm not calling anyone a moron. I'm just saying that only morons would believe that a pitcher, ANY pitcher, would hit a batter intentionally in that situation. If you want to take it personally that's your business I guess.
By far, the best part of this game has been the moment of silence from Buck and McCarver. They really should find a way to turn off commentary and just listen to the game without their annoying voices ruining it for me...
