    Lets go Marcus!

Where did Cano get hit? I'm "watching" it on GameCast and I saw they pulled him off first and Pena is now in. How bad did it look?

Looked like it hurt. Inside of left knee.

Made 'em pay for it, though.

    Same with Jeter.

Beckett is such a douche bag. I honestly wouldn't put it past him to be hitting them on purpose just because he's pissed off, regardless of whether a run would score.

Hughes is throwing the ball pretty hard tonight. Consistently sitting at 94 with the fastball. Cutter has some good movement. He's barely thrown the curve tonight. Looks good so far, lets keep it up

Ump's decided to shrink his zone here in the bottom of the sixth. I guess after watching Beckett throw in the top of the inning, it's possible he may have forgotten what a strike looks like.

Beckett pretty much sealed Youkilis' fate.

The Yanks are better equipped to lose Cano than the Sox Youk.

Is it unusual Martinez is using a first base mitt to catch Wake?

    It makes sense.

some catchers have been known to do that for knuckleballers because its a much bigger glove

I though the max on a FB mitt is 13.5 inches.

Catchers are like 24. Idk that what I thought.

You get more flexibilty and mobility out of a FB mitt and the pocket is bigger.

    But the glove isn't bigger

Edit: confirmed first catchers mitt I found on eBay was 32"

Yanks win. What's the status of Cano.

Burnett loves to retaliate. Sunday should be interesting.

Not expecting much from Nick Johnson anymore. Juan Miranda would be nice, a platoon with him and Thames isn't the worse thing in the world.

Can someone find a stat on the number of times Jeter has been hit by a Sox pitcher? It has to be the most of all time between a player and a team.

Hopefully Joba gets some work and Youkilis makes his way to the plate during his relief appearance this weekend.
