I guess the mods decided to let the Soxie have his way. Happy now that you have your precious series thread naming rights?
I actually DIDN'T want them merged. Like I said, starting a thread for the series after I already made one is bad mojo. I honestly had nothing to do with it.
The Jets are my second team, and we are united in an enormous hatred of all things Patriots. I hate them more than I hate the Yankees. Besides that, I've been here a long time, longer than you even. I'm no visitor.
Ah, but starting a thread when someone else was already in line to start the thread is even worse mojo. So now you're doubly fucked, mojoally speaking.
You're right, of course. I didn't realize there was a big thing about the thread starter until now. I just merged two threads with identical titles because, foolish me, I thought it was a duplicative oversight. I now see I'll have to be more careful in the Baseball Forum.
I would have bet you did it cuz you were a Sawx fan, not because you're a douche or anything.
You're a Cowboys fan, youre a visitor. Only reason you are here is because your buddy was a mod. And its not like you contribute much outside the sawx threads anyway....
He wasn't a mod when I joined, that was like 2+ years later I think. I don't really go into the Jets forum but I'm in the BS forum often and I'm probably top 3 in posts in this forum, and it isn't just in Sox threads. This place in general is better for baseball talk than a lot of dedicated baseball boards I've seen.
Devil of course was the douchebag who started a Sox-Indians ALCS thread two seasons ago before the Indians had eliminated the yankees. In case anyone might've forgot.
Remember the last time Joba pitched in Boston (if I remember correctly he pitched 7 scoreless innings...I may be wrong tho)
As a starter, yes, you are correct. That was this game: 7 IP 3 H 0 R 9 K He did, however, show up in relief at Fenway at the end of September, and didn't fare very well... but Moose won his 20th game that night.
And people on a predominantly NY-themed sports message board might think you're a dick because . . . .?
No way. He never came close to anyone else and all of a sudden he's throwing consecutive pitches over the guy's head. And then does it again in a different game.
Which one of the several times? Maybe it's just that Youkilis has a really big head. It has its own gravity and draws objects like fastballs into its atmosphere.
