You dont know what happens if he is on this team. He is allowed to be a clown on the Sox but on the Yanks would that have been tolerated? The hustle when I want to idiot attitude may have been a serious conflict. That would have also given the Sox a lot of flexibility financial wise. I know at the time I didnt think we should have done it
