No, I wasn't joking. I'm just puzzled why he seems to be trying to force things with RISP. Obviously he's not playing poorly, and I didn't mean to sound like I think he is, it just appears to me that he's trying too hard in RBI situations. (I'm admitting it's my perception, so I could be totally off.)
I understand this lineup can hit, but like I said to Cappy yesterday, it's not their offense that gets to me, it's ours. Their pitching is lacking without Kazmir. There's no reason we shouldn't be scoring a few runs when we load the bases.
Not that I know this has anything to do with it, and he did go 4-5 on Monday, but his wife is due in the next 3 or 4 days and it may be weighing on him. In fact he was saying he hoped it would be while he was in Tampa so it is that close. He will be leaving the team when she does have the baby for a couple of days and what I didn't know is that they are now living back in Miami and not in NY right now.
