    Someone hit him in the head with a bat. If he were to suffer this "unfortunate accident", we wouldn't have to pay him next year.

    George just needs to give Randy his $16M next year in one lump sum this off-season and get him to retire. He is a disaster.

    How about sending him to the pen?

    Can you imagine putting out Proctor/Vallone in the 6th, Johnson in the 7th, Farnsworth in the 8th, and closing with Mo?

    It's reached the point where I just want him gone altogether. However, I think he'll be back next year, and I can't imagine Torre making Johnson a middle reliever, nor can I see Johnson accept it without bitching. It's not a bad idea, though.

    I was thinking, Torre really did get punished for using Farnsworth. He brings Farns in when it is totally unneccessary, Farns gets hurt, they then have to call up an extra reliever, and the player who has to go as a result is Torre's favorite "scrappy" player, Bubba Crosby.
