    Down 10-1 and having to face the greatest closer of all-time, the Twins should've just forfeited before the inning.

    It amazes me how Mussina has accomplished so much despite constantly getting squeezed by the umps.

    But like the great pitcher he is, he gets the DP after strike 3 is called ball 4 to the previous hitter.

    It's obvious Mussina and Pettitte just couldn't deal with that cold weather in their previous starts. Mussina is already up to 87-88 with his fastball, when it was 84-85 in the cold.

    I'd be surprised if they went with Hughes over Clippard, considering he's more ML ready in terms of innings, and is lined up to pitch the same day as Mussina.

    i dont know...Hughes is expected to be called up before the end of the year, and possibly earlier barring injury, If Wang and Mussina are down, this may be his time...
