But you know the argument tomorrow will be that the Yankees were up big already when he hit it.

The guy is on absolute fire now. He's REALLY fun to watch again!

Kay, dont put it past Torre to put in Mo, after putting in Pettite anything is possible.

Well, Pettitte offered, to help out the pen, so for once we can't blame Joe.

If Mo comes in today, Joe should be executed on the spot.

    Pavano's the man.

He wasn't getting hit hard all spring, or on Opening Day. Same tonight, only now the ball isn't finding a hole.

Yeah, he's really done exactly what was demanded of him. I like what I'm seeing from him. Very nice work.

You have no idea how good you have it. Some of us will spend the rest of the season listening to Suzyn Waldman. I swear that woman must be able to suck the chrome off a trailer hitch, there is not a single other rational explanation for her still being employed.

    Good game, Pavano.

I hope Melky is fine, or maybe Kay is just seeing random shit again like the skull pushups.

Pavano pitched an excellent game. I don't see why he isn't coming in for the 8th with his low pitch count, but Bruney is coming in for the 8th

It's only his second regular season start in nearly 2 years, he has to build stamina. He was probably going to run out of gas sometime this inning. It's better to get him out after 7 strong innings.

Well pitched game. We need Pettitte to continue the trend Pavano has set.
