In the scoreboard watch, Boston won so we're still 9 behind them (8 in the loss)

Cleveland lost, so we're 7 behind them (6 in the loss)

Seattle won, so we're still 6 behind them (6 in the loss)

Minnesota didn't play, so we're 2 behind them (1 in the loss)

The Twins are starting up a 3 game set with Detroit tomorrow, and follow that with the Angels, so hopefully by the end of this week, we'll have leap-frogged them. Then on Monday, Cleveland and Boston have a 4 game series, while we have 4 games against the Royals. A sweep would be huge, meaning we'll pick up at least 2 games on either one of those teams.

I said it in other threads. Stop H8in' on Viz. He isn't as Bad as some of tyall make him out to be.

We gotta keep rollin' Looks like we're finally getting hits other than A-Rod & Dj.

Funny thing is that My Argument has been that our 6-7-8-9 & 1 Spot has been total garbage and that's the reason for our lack of wins.

    Don't look now.....

The loss column is what matters, we are 8 back of Boston and 6 of the WC. Inching closer every day.

That was a nice win last night and makes it very possible now to win 2 of 3 and take the series.

Big game tonight, as a win against Halladay gives the Yanks a really good shot at a sweep. (I like the next two matchups.)

It was a bad start. He was in trouble every inning, he walked guys, allowed hits, allowed home runs, and was well over 100 pitches in the 5th inning.

The 7 strikeouts in 5 innings is good, but when you're walking guys, it doesn't mean quite as much.

good game, but do these guys in the booth honestly think that was an amazing play by a-rod? the guy reached to his glove side and threw a runner out, nothing special.

im not trying to stir up some controversy, im just wondering if yankees fans can tolerate the YES announcers

it just might turn out to be the best play in this game. It was a nice play. I've seen better but they are announcing this game and it is their job to make it as exciting as possible.

Not Farnsworth's fault. He sucks, but everyone knows he sucks. This is on Torre. There is NO WAY Farnsworth should be in that situation. No way in hell. Ugh. I feel sick. They NEED these games.

torre needs to stop putting farnsworth in there in tight games in the 8th.

vizcaino and bruney are both better options

    farnsworth is a gas can
