Double for Canue! He's swinging pretty good lately. Posada obviously couldn't score from 1st...

    2nd and 3rd 2 outs for Foolips...

Unbelievable...Foolips is almost allowed to be called Phillips!

All this with nobody on and 2 outs...Single for Jorge, Double Canue...Single Foolips.

 I don't think you'll find many people happy with that "decent" performance.

They have to. He is a huge liability at the plate, he doesn't even intimidate anymore.

decent implies that it wasn't bad. And I think you're nuts. He didn't put his team in position to win at all. 3 runs in 5 innings, and it should've been more. I don't care how many Ks he had, he allowed 11 baserunners in 5 innings.

How dare Torre extend anyone past 100 pitches. Good to finally see this.

Wow he got past Stairs...2 innings 4 hits, lucky to only give up 1 run.

Okay...Let me here it guys, since Scik is here tonight...

Farnsworthless pitched the last two days in the 8th, and failed. Torre wants to test him...

Vizcaino pitched yesterday...BRUNEY DID NOT PITCH YESTERDAY, CAN WE SEE HIM SETUP FOR THE 8TH!?!

It wasn't bad, it was decent, but i'm not happy.

It SHOULD have been more runs, I agree...But he got lucky to get out of it...Decent start.

I actually went through all his starts to see how far he'd gone before, and he'd never thrown more than 98. He had a whole bunch of starts in the 90s. Looks like Torre was yanking him to avoid the triple digits.

But what I'm saying is, what makes it decent in your mind? That he struck guys out?

He had a WHIP of 2.2.
