    7-3 Bottom 8.

I'm glad I didn't go tonight...I would be berating Farnsworthless for setting up the 8th. Gosh I cannot stand him and his lame glasses.

GIVE ME BRUNEY IN THE 8TH!!!

Vizcaino and Farnsworthless BOTH get the job done...

Nice start to the 2nd half, last night has to be a theme these next few weeks. We cannot fool around w/ these bad teams.

They have 52 games left against sub .500 teams. 12 with Tampa Bay, 13 with Baltimore (counting the suspended game), 10 with KC, 14 with Toronto and 3 with Chicago. They should be able to win most against those first three teams. If they do and just win the series against Toronto and Chicago and play decent in the rest of their games they should be able to make it in.

Jeter has hit into more double plays the last week than he has his whole career.

After 2, Kazmir may have all the runs he needs up 3-0.

When's the last time you saw Clemens fall behind five hitters in a row? Grr.

4-1 after 4. The Yankees need some runs and fast!

Good news is Kazmir's at 80 pitches already. The Yanks could get 3-4 cracks at it through TB's shitty pen. And hopefully, Clemens can keep them at four runs and get another three innings (at least). He's only at 57 pitches.

No reason Kazmir can't pitch the 6th and 7th. Yankees need to get their act together in the 6th.

Depends on the sixth. He's at 97 pitches. He doesn't usually go more than 110. Even a fairly quick sixth will likely be his last, I'd think.

He is done, but only 3 innings to make up the 3 runs. Pena lead off walk. I am worried.

TB's pen is shitty. Really, really, really shitty. Cano and Abreu can come off the bench. Have faith.

ETA: Of course, that was assuming that Clemens didn't decide to not throw strikes again. Jesus.
