    THE CAPTAIN!!!!

    Damon scores from first!

    8-6 YANKEESSSSSSSSS!

This is more a case of the Orioles sucking, than the Yankees being good.

I keep peeking in and out. I said I was taking a vacation from the games until the break, and that's what I'm doing. The two times I flipped to the game tonight something bad happened. I'm trying to hold off my curse for a while, and hopefully, it'll work out and I can return to regular watching in a few weeks.

Wow. You are saying davecrazy has split personalities. One answers to "dave". The other answers to "crazy". Good stuff.

    Oh, okay.

You are right. Both of those guys should have stepped up to the plate and participated in sig bets.

I couldn't. I didn't even open any Yankees-Mets sig bet threads. I believe I had computer problems each time there was a Subway Series this year. I don't think I participated in either Subway Series thread, in fact. Maybe next year I'll get in that.

not sure I agree with that.

I only did it the second series because the Yankee fans insisted that they bet the first time around knowing they would lose.
I expected us to only win one game in the Bronx, and we did.

I expected the Mets to win the Bronx series, considering they are the better team. Fuckin' Glavine ruined that series. That Glavine performance led to my 5-game boycott of the Mets.

for the second series you guys were right where we were for the 1st. You still stepped up and did it. Those 2 clowns constantly come in our threads and bash away, but never join in the bets.

    yeah, on July 27th.

The New York Yankees got out of town without another loss. But they didn't get a victory, because their game against the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday night was suspended by rain.

The game was stopped after a delay of 1 hour, 25 minutes. It was the second rain stoppage; the first one lasted 18 minutes.

New York was leading 8-6 in the top of the eighth when play was halted for the last time. The game will be resumed on July 27, at the point it was stopped, when the Yankees return to Camden Yards.

Yankees got very lucky tonight. The game should have reverted to the end of the 7th, Baltimore wins.

Even Mother Nature doesn't want the Yankees to win.
