It's not the first time he's pitched really well this year. Come on man. I understand you're frustrated, but he's a damned good pitcher when he's on. Basically, everyone talks about how this plays as such a big park, but maybe it's just that the Mets' lineup is so anemic that they just can't hit homers.
Argenis Reyes is the 2 hitter, other than Wright and Sheffield at times the rest of the lineup is full of scrubs, it is like bragging beating up a cripple, a AAA lineup is what it is. I was shocked it took your team so long to finally beat up the shitty Tim Redding.
Dead even on who should play center. Personally, I still prefer Melky, but I don't object to them both being in the lineup.
I'm not discrediting what you're saying about your team. Trust me, I know the Mets are beat up really badly. And I know how that feels. All I'm saying is don't knock Burnett. His stuff is pretty good tonight, and even against the Mets best lineup he'd still be dealing.
Please don't compare our best lineup to this atrocity. And it is easy to be rolling if you only have to worry about 1 hitter, I give him credit for shutting down Wright but then again he doesn't have to give him any pitches to hit
