I looked up this Macho man vs. Vince beef, I read that it was because Macho man went to WCW when Vince was caught up in the steroid scandal. Supposedly Savage was in his last year of his contract and promised Vince that he wouldn't leave like the others (Hulk etc) but he did. Also during the time when Vince was caught up in the sandal he was losing sponsors left and right, and Slim Jim wanted Savage to promote for them and Vince felt like he was back stabbed. I've followed wrestling for 20yrs and never heard anything about Savage savaging Steph. They hate each other for the same reason everybody else hates them, egos.
I didn't have the patience to wait for the download...WTF? It ISN'T the same controls?! Why would the same manufacturer go in two different directions?
It's horrendous. I actually canceled my reservation on it yesterday and switched over the money I had on it to Guitar Hero Metallica. I'll probably play this game at some point but no way would I buy it. It fucking sucks.
There's not alot you can even do in the game to be honest. It's pretty much just the relive, rewrite, and redefine game modes which have you do a bunch of stupid objectives during the match to unlock shit. Majority of the wrestlers are from the 80s which I'm okay with but how you leave out Foley, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Sycho Sid is beyond me. Luckily I rented it.
