I'd put OLB in between those 2 and also don't be surprised if we go receiver early next year, assuming we lose at least 1 of Holmes/Edwards
It's very difficult to speculate the Jet's needs come next April. IMO as of today....OLB, WR & RB. OLB As of right now, it looks like Jason Taylor is one and done, his 2nd year deal is over the top. Bryan Thomas is a 10 year vet...so the need for a 3-4 Rush OLB is paramount going into 2011. Adrian Robinson, Dontay Moch, Bruce Miller or Jonathan Freeny are possibilties...since Miller and Ayers should be gone. WR I'm betting Braylon Edwards won't be resigned. Santonio Holmes is much more polished and would be our ideal #1 receiver for the long term. BE's inconsistent play is a concern and I don't see Tanny throwing huge money his way. The need for a good 2/3 WR to team with Holmes and Cotchery will be a need, especially a good special teams player...like Austin Pettis of Boise State. RB After Greene and LT we are thin at RB. Another Good RB with a mixture of LT's and Greene's abilities will be needed. Brandon Saine, OSU could be a nice early/mid round addition. Saine has good hands and is an excellent North/South runner.
My guess is that Damien Woody gets cut next offseason so unless Ducasse is ready to play RT, we might need to go OL early again.
