Rackley participated in everything at the combine except the 40.

I have to disagree with this.

Ducasse is a amazing physical talent. As a run blocker, his potential is almost off-the-charts.

If he picks up the mental aspect of this game, he'll be a quality starter in this league for a long time.

I know Rackley was recruited by Georgia Tech and Georgia had some interest, but it didn't go anywhere.

My bad, I remember seeing Rackley not running the 40 and mentioning a hip injury.

I agree Vlad has the physical tools, I just don't have 100% confidence of it translating to the field. I'm not giving up on the kid, but he has to step up this year. Vlad looked lost on the field, his feet were stuck in mud. Hopefully he has the acumen to develop into a solid player.

If Vlad can't make it with Bill C, he won't make it anywhere.

Regardless, the Jets need another piece on the O-line.

I really feel it is premature to to label Vlad anything at this point. He was a project last year, and a rookie. He still showed some of his potential on the field, but he was clearly lost, it was exploited and obvious.

After a year of learning, developing, I think he can make a better contribution this year. He has a lot of physical tools that can be amazing for our team, and I hope it pans out that way. I really think this kid will be fine, and we will see results this year. He should be our RT this season and for our future. I really feel confident in that.

The Jets need a slot WR no matter who is on the outside. Sanz does that job very well. His quickness and separation as well as his toughness are prevalent.

If Turner or Hunter don't come back due to what the CBA holds, the Jets are going to need another OL regardless of Woody returning or not.

I like the first two picks, well love the brooks reed pick...I just wish we had second or third round pick because I would like Deunta Williams.

I agree with this statement. If we go into season having Ducasse and another project battling for the starting RT position though, i'd be freaking..
Hunter is a guy the Jets really need to re-sign.
Based on Turner's agent, I'd say there is a good chance we don't get him back. So i think it would be safer to draft a backup C/G with some athletic ability to replace Turner if we draft OL.

Drafting Reed and Ellis would hit 2 major needs, and i'd be pretty stoked with that. I agree S and WR are other areas that will be on our radar.

    Overall, .

I absolutely love the first two picks. I think they would immensely improve the Jets' front 7. I have mixed feelings about Sanzenbacher, but think you're right that the Jets should probably consider drafting a slot WR or at least another WR, particularly if they don't see Brad Smith coming back.

I don't know anything about the other kids, but think addressing the OL is smart. There are definite question marks at RT and with the OL depth in general. They also need help at S.

Like the first two picks. The last 4 I don't. I don't want an OL before a safety, nor do I want a TE at all. Sanzenbacher I can't see being much more than a ST player.
