Ok Jets stop them here and I'll forgive them for all the 3rd and long conversions givin up lol....this would be a huuuuuuge win that I want badly....
I honestly think they just got tired due to the heat. Remember Henne carved them up down there last year as well. I don't think we're as strong as we could be but I also don't think tonight is a completely accurate indication of how good the D is.
the run game isn't as expected cause no jenks, the coverage isn't as good cause no revis, the pass rush isn't as good cause no pace. can't wait to have pace and revis back. cro played admirably
DBs were sliding all over the field for both teams. I was more pissed off at Cromartie being flat-out out of position on so many plays where he was standing up. There were about 4-5 plays where it looked like Cro as trying to cover a WR 10 yards further down the field that just wasn't there.
Wilson just needs to start getting his head around on the deep ball passes. He's decent on underneath coverage and short to medium pass coverage. But he lacks the instinct - AND EXPERIENCE- to get his head turned around to look for the ball. Kyle - Become the receiver. Be the Receiver!
