This is interesting considering I was just reading that the Ravens uped their offer for Mosley but are still far behind teams like the Jets. Hard to believe in today's era that a player will pick a spot for less money if he's offered a ton like it seems the Jets are doing.
The Jets have had some great free agent classes. Most notably 1998 two HOFers and Testaverde, Cox etc. and 2008 when they found key players for teams that went to back-to-back AFC Championship games in 2009 & 2010. This one is lookin' good too but a ways to go for me to call it the best the Jets have ever had. Time will tell.
We don't need no stinking backup QB when we already have one in Webb. We still have starting positions to fill.

Eh...its pretty rare for good football teams to have a quality QB in the other holster. The Patriots have Brian Hoyer. The Packers had the kid from UCLA who sucks. Are you telling me they are quality? Steelers had a rookie as their primary backup. Giants had a rookie too.
Then there is the Eagles who won a Super Bowl and made the playoffs because they had Foles. The Jets have a history of having seasons ruined because of bad backup QB play. McCown went 0-3 last season. IF Tannehill becomes available and IF he can't get another starting job he makes perfect sense for the Jets because of his connection to Gase.
