I think there's a little more to it than that, and will not be surprised if it turns out that way I think there's a definite risk to losing either one tho, right?
I think, based on what seems to happen every year, the risk of losing players to the waivers decreases after week 1. Of course i could be way off on the whoe theory
I thought you factored that in, makes sense. Push comes to shove they might rather risk losing Peake too at that point. So much happens during that time with transactions, so who tf knows tho?
Don't you DAAAAARE Be Sour! CLAP for your world famous all new, and improved Jets WR core, and FEEEEEEL the POWWWAAHHHHHH!!!!
As the original poster on this topic, I gotta say, I love that we went with the youth...... And I'm Jacked to see how it works out...... I'm not going to lie, I was worried we wouldn't have the balls to do it, and I figured Ross would make it and one of the kids wouldn't...... I'm over the moon that I was wrong
Forget telling Smith to F off... I hope he gets healthy, gets on the field & continues where he left off before the ACL. He was just starting to finally show his vertical ability. Anderson might be "better" than Smith vertically(Up for serious debate, mind you) but he's also a different flavor. I'll take both thank you. In a league where the WR position is evolving...Smith coming back & contributing along w/ the other youngsters puts the Jets in a pretty prominent position. Peake/J. Marshall/Anderson/Enunwa/Smith is not only a unique blend of skill/talent...it also would make a heckuva starting 5 in basketball.Which by the way...is one of the methods teams use to build a well rounded WR corps.
