No.... I found it somewhat disturbing that you would choose to make a point of noticing them. Is this something you do on a regular basis? Are you like a man-boob expert?

Based on your reaction I touched a nerve. Which most of the time that person resemble the remark.
Anyway, in watching each of the Jets game and twhen hey showed him running off the field, you can't help notice. Now if you say you didn't see it, you must be blind.

Hey someone is paying attention and ACTUALLY knows some football and what their looking at on TV..Yes it was mostly 4-3 and also vs Indy 90% of the time we were in 4-3 over alignment. Its a base NFL defense most teams employ..I'm begging everyone on this site stop talking about 3-4 vs 4-3, its a post that has been played out and it has no validity since it is a F**king 4-3 they've been playing the last two weeks..What they need is better players on defense and there not walking the streets..it takes time to get them..

We have to go back with the 4-3.

That "group" sure has produced a bunch of double d candidates no?

Was watching Notre Dame this weekend..and Charlie Weiss is actually much bigger than Parcells now.

It jusnt doesnt look good for the future of EM. They just keep getting bigger and bigger.

I thought that Mangini & Tanny were hired to get us a SB championship not to worry if they need bra's or not. Does Mangini wearing a bra bring us closer to a SB championship? I think not so I would more worry about finding FB players that can play the game & make us a elite team then worry what type under garments that Mangini should wear

Not to take away the thunder of this thread, but I started a Mangini out of shape/man tits thread and it practically got shut down, actually it did get shut down.
On the serious side this stubborness to stick with a system that doesn't fit the personnel is something that too many coaches go through. (No I am not going to post examples.) The only recovery is to go back out and proove they are not as bas as 41-0. The next 3 games are winnable.

Don't take it seriously. I don't think this board cares about Mangini's physique. We want a Championship.

Oye...As several people on this thread pointed out already, they used the 4-3 the majority of the time the past 2 games. The problem isn't the scheme. The problem is 1) The players really didn't seem like they wanted to play last week, and 2) There is a lack of talent. No NT, so Vilma and the other ILBs can't be freed to rush, and no one to clog holes for the run. A glaring lack of depth in the DB corp. (The dropoff after Rhodes and Dyson is dramatic). No OLB/DE to compliment Ellis. It doesn't matter what scheme you use if you don't have enough talent to implement it.

I would hardly call Hobson and Thomas standing in a 2 point stance over the tackles a 4-3. thats more like a really weak 5-2

if we ran a base 4-3 i think wed be better. not like anyone hasnt said this before but.

thomas and ellis at DE (with ball getting some rotation). D-Rob playing the 3 technique over the guard while a rotation of Rashad Moore and Kimo at the stop gap DT.

we could go with Vilma at MLB and Hobson/Barton at OLB. or have Kassell in the middle with Vilma and Barton at OLB.

either way the options are there.

I've made multiple posts about how Hobson is too short to engage lineman off the snap as he needs room to gain momentum so he can hope to get by blockers. and Thomas is playing in a 2 point stance getting stood up and then trying to bullrush to no evail.

right now in the 3-4, they put both Hobson and Thomas on the edge over the OT's providing Vilma and Barton no assistance as they take themselves out of the play by overpursuing to avoid interior lineman.

dont like it. the personnel isnt there obviously, but the whole "we'll use whatever defense gives us the best chance" is a joke unless theyre working on something right now.

Started season in 3-4, went 2-1. Switched to 4-3 in Colts game, went 0-2. But the 3-4 is KILLING US!

Yeah...agreed champ..but how are we going to get there with all the future health problems.

At least parcells tried to makes us "look away" by bleaching his hair blonde..or orange..something like that.

Charlie Weiss is wearing his belt about 10 inches over his belly button now.

    We are just joking champ.

I believe Charlie Weiss had gastric bypass surgery. If I remember correctly he was in real bad health due to his obesity and was walking with a cane. Also, I heard that it would make him more presentable as a head coaching candidate when he was interviwing for jobs before he got the ND gig.

Did he really? Amazing...he just looked very very overweight on Saturday. Much bigger than I can remember. Thats not good if he had that surgery.
