Haha, yeah, no. He is the farthest thing from a slot receiver I have ever seen. He' a red zone, jump ball stud.
6’6” 240, he ain’t lining up in the slot. I’d honestly play him at TE a bit and send him up the seam. He could be Jordan Reed-ish.
Seriously watch this, he drops like a stone when he gets touched. Still, would be a good deep ball, red zone guy.
Lol only jets fans will complain about getting Jerry rice in his prime and a #1 pick for a 7th rounder and bag of balls and find a reason to not like the deal because chad Hansen is not getting his touches. This is such a no brainer to take a chance on. If it doesn’t work out you move on. So many people in this board love misery and complaining.....
Right. Bring him in and let him try and earn a big pay day for himself down the road. Move him around the line of scrimmage too, along with Quincy, like you said.
I've been ashamed to admit it up till now in these rumors but getting Pryor makes me happy. For these very reasons. I'm not sure what happened last season but I'm pretty confident he can help the Jets and perhaps even help a lot. I think this is one of those moves that could really be a score and if it isn't you didn't lose much.
BTW Pryor is 28 turn 29 this year just FYI. I like this better that Hurns. He offers more diversity and value, especially if Robby is suspended. It'll be interesting to compare Hurns and Pryors contracts.
Wouldn’t surprise me at all if they let him go. Just sign Gaines tomorrow and get ready for the draft
Curious to see the exact numbers on this but on a cheap 1 year prove it deal, I don't mind it at all. Would like to see us try to use him in some of the ways we used Brad Smith at times to throw a different look at opposing defenses
